I am hoping to start my own online clothing business later this year. I am designing and making a lot of the items in this business from scratch by hand. I’ll be using a lot of materials like cloth, ribbon, beads, etc. that are made by other companies. Are there any laws concerning the use of these materials? Or do I have to contact all the companies and notify that I am using some of their materials in my clothes?

well i cut out strips of clothes and the thread on the edges are like frizzy and falling out. can fire stop that. like burning the edges. if so i dont have a lighter can i use a peice of paper an light it by the stove and then burn the edges? or does the burning edges only work for ribbons?
